adding a crossover

in London Architect with Soundweb London
I am trying to add a crossover to my signal path so that I can feed a seperate subwoofer. When I add the crossover to the architect file and connect the input source from the input card and connect the output to the output card I do not get any output signal. Yet if I add a mixer and create different groups and place a filter in the signal path I can get signals from the output card. Is there something that needs to be done in order to get the crossover to function. I have set the crossover output 1 to low pass 80Hz.

    Open the crossover control panel. Unmute the crossover outputs.

    I thought I had tried this with the M button ( I assume that is the mute button) both ways. I will try it again this afternoon and post the results.

    I tried placing the crossover in the file and unmuted the channel and this time it worked. Thanks for your quick reply.
