BLU-80 and Vista 5

1.BLU80's Digital card is about AES/EBU or MADI ?
2.Vista 5‘s output crad is only MADI?
3.BLU80 and Vista 5 can connected by AES/EBU or MADI?
4.Cable'Max Distance between BLU80 and Vista5,if they are connected?

English is hard for me,i try my best to express it.

    1. BLU80 digital card is AES/EBU
    2. Vista 5 link from console to stagebox is MADI. You cannot have a vista 5 wired straight to a BLU80 with the MADI Link
    3.The only way to connect BLU80 to vista 5 is with analogue, AES/EBU via the Vista 5 channel inputs or outputs.

    Cobranet is possible with VI6, but i am not sure if it is supported with Vista 5 (i would guess it is) so this wold be a better way to go. Max cable length is ethernet standard 100m for copper, or fibre for longer runs.

    BLU80 digatal card is AES/EBU.D21m frame can insert AES/EBU output card.Isn't is the way to connected BLU80 to Vista5 with AES/EBU?

    Yes, sorry confused myself as i was talking about MADI which is not compatible.

    AES EBU is fully compatible. Will support whatever the AES EBU Standard is for cable distance.

    Would be worth talking to Studer and BSS directly to confirm operation.
