Mutes all zones

Do you why the soundweb would mute zones on its own. We have music one moment and then they will call and say there is none. We look at the zones and they show muted? Any suggestions?

Plenty of suggestions, but no answers as i have not seen your design.

The only time i have had this happen before is when i re-used a design file that had some mutes copied to a control port. When the unit powercycled the unit kept the mutes 'muted' and as there was nothing wired to the control port they remained that way until the user booted into the system and manually unmuted.

Is the muting happening in the processor, so you can see a processing object mute, or are you losing a cobranet bundle?

I suggest you document which bits of the design are not working, and then send your design to Ian Gregory or Justin Hankey for them to review.

    Things they would want:
    Current firmware in the device
Current software on the control PC
Details on what BLU devices are used in the design
Hardware wiring schematics of the install
Issues that you are having and if they occur after a specific event or time
What processing objects are affected when the 'error state' occurs.
Where you are based and what distributor is supporting you.

This forum is not the place for a quick response, so if you go to the BSS website and look up contacts, you will see the support email contact that allow you to contact BSS directly.

    Good luck

    Kind regards

    Rob

PS i have just seen you are in Tulsa, So Ian may be the best contact as he is in Salt Lake

Whatever you do, don't contact Iain. He's not tech support.
Tech support email links are available at http://www.bssaudio.com/tech_support.php or call 800-931-2657.
