BLU16 to BLU80 conversion

OK, new problem. I've spent all day reworking a design for a client who has multiple BLU16s. I only have BLU80s in my shop to test the design on. How do I change the device in the design so that I can upload the new design to the 80 and test it? If I create a new device and copy/paste the configuration I have to re-link all my logic, custom panels, etc. to the new device/config.
Can I fool the 80 into thinking it's a 16? Thanks, r

    Nope - there's no way to convert a BLU-16 to a BLU-80.

However, you could try to use the 'Paste Special | Keep Original Control Connections' function. This may not solve your entire problem but it could save you some time.

If you've never used it before, select the objects you want to move from the BLU-16 and choose Cut (Copy will not work). Then go to the BLU-80 and choose Paste Special (from the Edit menu).......

You may have to repeat this a few times (DSP window, Logic Window etc).

It won't fix any Control Port mappings but should allow you to port over DSP, Logic and Custom Control panels fairly easily....

    Hope this helps.
