Fire Safety connections

Our Fire Safety system has an open circuit connection that when triggered closes. Fire Code requires that the audio system mutes whenever the Fire Safety system engages. How can I best accomplish the incorporation of the Fire Safety system using this open circuit and how is this wired to a Blu-16?

The Control Port Inputs will react to changes in the Open / Closed circuit status of your fire system.

Once connected to the Soundweb system Control Port inputs you can then do anything you like in the DSP system such as recalling a preset to mute all of the outputs.

Soundweb and Soundweb London are used in life safety systems all over the World so rest assured that you're not trying to achieve anything out of the ordinary.

I always insist on a closure when not in alarm and an open when in alarm. (Alarm = Open) This protects you from someone defeating the fire alarm by just unplugging the wire. If the wire is unplugged the system mutes, requiring some attention.
