outboard gain reduction meter

I want an outboard meter that shows gain reduction for a compressor. I thought it might be possible with logic ports, but after some experiments, I've come to the conclusion this is not possible. I'm writing this in the hope that I am wrong and there is a way, I just haven't figured it out yet. If it is possible instructions and where to get the meter would be helpful.

With control ports, not possible.

If you have a Crestron, AMX, Medialon, Extron, etc, etc, etc, RS232 control system, you can subscribe to the meter and have it appear on the LCD controller.

You could also put it on the meter of a BLU-8. <-- nevermind, wrong platform, duh.

You could also put it on the screen of a BLU-10. <--duh again.
