How to an External Cobranet source (ASI6416 sound card)

I am having trouble adding to my design an external device for cobranet input that isn't listed in device. Is there a generic component that cand be added as a cobranet input?

Regards,

Jeff

  • Hi,

You don't need to add any custom devices for CobraNet from non Soundweb London devices.

Simply set the CobraNet receiver bundle number to the same as the non Soundweb London device CobraNet transmit number and ensure that the two devices are on the same CobraNet network.

As long as the sample rates are the same, you'll see the 'receiving audio' indicator on the receiving bundle control panel light up, this indicates a good CobraNet connection.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks

Just set up the cobranet bundle number the same and it will work.

The signal naming will not work, but place a audio coupler post the bundle and rename the channels in the device properties.
  • Look at the timing on the posts Rob ;-)

we should both probably get out more.....
  • Yep - you're right..... I'm off to get a kebab and go to a disco....
  • I goofed it, the audio card was configured to receive its own output! Thanxs....
