in London Architect with Soundweb London
I am trying to control a Marantz PMD580 with a BLU-160. The codes are given in a table but I am not sure in what form. Example: \"@02300\"+CR is that ASCII? That's what I have assumed but when using the serial trigger in logic the Marantz is unresponsive. I am a newby at serial control. Any help would be much appreciated...

    Yes I would guess that it is ASCII. +CR will likely mean add carriage return byte to the end (13).

    I've had a huge amount of trouble getting Soundweb London's to talk to a PMD570 in the past. I believe there is another post in this forum with the same problems on a PMD580.

    I didn't have enough time to troubleshoot fully but it appeared to be something to do with the lack of hardware flow control on the Soundweb serial port.

    Scott E on this forum may be able to offer some advise...
