Designer on Vista 64bit

I recently bought a new laptop that has Vista 64bit. When I try to install Soundweb Designer 1.50 it's not compatible. Is there a 64bit version?

    There is no 64 bit version of Soundweb Designer and there never will be. You may be able to run Soundweb Designer in 32 bit compatibility mode. If that doesn't work, you'll need to either run a 32 bit virtual machine or dual boot to a 32 bit operating system.

    EDIT: Soundweb Designer v1.50 has a new installation package which works with all current versions of Windows including both 32-bit and 64-bit versions.

    Because of this, information regarding the 64-bit installation workaround has been removed from this post.
