blu-8 Controlled Parameters

Can Blu-8 in 4 page mode now control 8 different SV on the left selector?
The properties window shows 8 fields for Controlled Parameters, but trying to drag a different control on the rotary, just replaces the first entry.

Nah, that's just the way that properties has always displayed the info. In button mode, the rotary selector on the BLU-8 can control:

1 SV with up to 9 possible states. (that would be an 8-input source selector with the \"Allow None\" property on)

    or

Up to 8 different presets. This one is a bit whacky because it's not completely intuitive. To assign it, you drag parameter presets, one at a time, onto the rotary selector and they are assigned to the 8 locations in the order in which you drag them. While this isn't intuitive for some people, it does give you some really cool flexibility that you wouldn't have if they'd implemented it differently.

The BLU-8 rotary selector can NOT control:
    - 8 mute buttons or solos or whatever.
    - A fader.
    - An input gain. (Input gains look like they have exactly 9 states, but they don't really. It's complicated.)
    - Crossover frequency.
    - Everything else.

The BLU-8 is done, so we'll probably never see any additional features. There's not enough unused firmware memory in it to make one of the lights flash much less add more features to it, so something would have to be removed before anything could be added. Not impossible, but unlikely.

BTW: It's totally possible to make the rotary selector turn 8 different mutes on/off even though it \"can't be done\". You just need to get creative with logic.
