Having Trouble Going \"ON Line\"

Hi Guys,
This is Sigmund Quadros from INDIA, a very new BSS controller user.

i have figured out almost everything on the soundweb software.

problem : i cant seem to go \"online\".

how do i apply the changes i have brought abt to the settings? HELP!?

Thank You for the reply.
No I'm not using the London Archi. Its The BSS Soundweb Designer for 3088 that I'm using.

Anyway would go through the above link.

also would need some clarity on the difference between the London Archi and the others.

HI Dan,

I did read through the link you sent me. Its not exactly what i\"m looking at.

The Problem i and facing is i have a serial to usb connected to mu computer and am also accessing the sound designer.
though i can see the complete architecture of the designed system but cant really make any changes.
and the Go Online tab on the software keep telling me to chk my COM ports.

I know this is just a mere troubleshooting issue. But i have not left a single stone unturned where chking the settings r concerned. drivers are fine. everything's in place. but no luck with Execution.

HELP!

Hopefully, there is a stone unturned. If there's not, then your USB/serial adaptor doesn't work.

Launch Soundweb Designer, click on HELP | CONTENTS, and then link that says Working 'online'.

Tells you all about setting up your connection and going online to the device.
