Reboot question

With the latest software it's possible to reboot a device from a logic end.
How exactly do we do it?
the Help file says:
Let's say I want to reboot a Blu-8 that's called RCPTN in the design every night at 5 am- not unreasonable seeing how they tend to lock up periodically.
I have a calendar object that sends a 1 to logic end and in the custom events field of the logic end do I enter 'RCPTN $reboot' or '$reboot RCPTN' or some other variation?
Or, is this $reboot command only affecting the device where the logic end is running- like a Blu-160?

the Help file says:
Custom events can also be used to reboot your device when triggered from a logic end. Enter $reboot for the device to reboot when the logic end goes high or low

We need the reboot button that's in the network window available as control panel object, or at least a way to reboot any device using logic objects.
