Gallery one more time

The latest LA handles the gallery in a very unfriendly way.
I can't see any of my custom controls that I developed over the years and trying to add them to gallery from old designs is seriously flawed. Sometimes I get a part of the control, like only the trolley of a custom fader or nothing at all- like in case of a custom button.
Is there a procedure for importing old gallery items?

What you're describing is not \"the latest LA\". The current version of LA doesn't eliminate or change your existing user gallery items, it just displays them in a gallery section titled USER. Everything that you've created in the past will look and function exactly as it always has with one exception. That except is that if you have a user item in your gallery and there's a different item (of the same type) with the same name in the current design file, LA will display the attributes from the item in the design file. In other words:

    * Create a text style called FADER TEXT using Arial font.
    * Apply that to some text in FIRST.ARCHITECT.
    * Open a new design file, change FADER TEXT to use Tahoma, and apply it to some text in SECOND.ARCHITECT.

When you have FIRST.ARCHITECT open (and only while that file is open), the user gallery item FADER TEXT will be the Arial font.
When you have SECOND.ARCHITECT open, the user gallery item FADER TEXT will be Tahoma.
When you have a file open that doesn't have FADER TEXT already in it, it will be whatever font you last assigned to that gallery item.

If all of your objects are missing, your gallery file has been deleted. If your objects are showing up with portions missing, the gallery file on your computer may have become corrupt and you should email it to tech support (user.gal in your \\London Architect\\Gallery\\ folder). Make sure you include a specific example of an item in the gallery which looks wrong and describe what it should look like.
