extron drivers

hi,

we are trying to control BLU-100s with Extron IPL250s (with 700TV touch screens) - i see there are AMX and Crestron modules to download - does anyone know if Extron drivers are available?

    do you know if that means it's not possible? or if i hassle extron into making something is it likely to work? (can't wait until they release the driver creator so we can make our own....)

    Soundweb London can be controlled by any device using serial strings. The only limitation would be the capabilities of the controlling system.

    in case anyone else is looking for this info in the future - extron will make drivers if you send them the .architect file and tell them which things you need to control.

    i assume if i then alter the architect file after they have created the driver (adding in extra processing for example) the pre-existing objects their driver refers to will not change ID?

    Object IDs will not change unless you delete the object being controlled. HiQnet node addresses will not change unless you change them or click on the wrong button when asked if you want to change them.

    I am writing to thank you. I was dealing with Extron on the phone a ton today re: getting them to write a driver for my BLU-160. They said that somebody had just put in the request for a driver for that same model. I'm guessing that was you, so thanks. Keep us posted on the process for this as I'm sure you and I are not the only two that would like to use Extron controllers with the BSS Blu equipment.
