Can a USB Midi Control Surface be used?

Does anyone know if the soundweb originals can be controlled with an external usb midi control surface? (such as the Behringer BCR2000 USB Midi controller)

    Soundweb 90xx devices do not have MIDI inputs. They are be controlled by RS232.

    So would i need to connect my control surface direct to PC and the sound web dierect to PC using a RS232 - USB cable? if so, how would they the 'speak' to each other ?

    They wouldn't speak to each other. Soundweb can not be controlled by MIDI. The only way which could, in theory, work is if you have a MIDI control surface that is controlling a computer and that computer is controlling the Soundweb. There is no known software that does this.
