Blu-8 labeling

I realize there are a few 3rd party companies that provide custom engraved Blu-8 panels- but in the mean time- has anyone run the stock BLU-8 labeling sheet thru a laser printer? Does it fair ok? Does anyone already have a template for such a thing set up? I just would like a temporary short term solution that looks better then the guys getting out the P-touch or Dymo or even worse- their blunt sharpie.

Thanks
Brian

I print a transparency and have my shop techs cut it out.
There is a dxf or dwg of blu-8 available for download on the bss website. All you have to do is set most of the lines to non-printing layer and just print the labeling and cut-out holes. It works well and it's easy to change on short notice.
