Mixer Module Solo

Any chance the mixer module could eventually support a separate solo bus output to feed a separate output, which could be used for a control room or headphone amp? Can the BLU AOC drive some headphones?

I envision being able to build a custom control panel that emulates a traditional analog mixer (mostly). I know with some trickery, this could be done now, but if the mixer object had 1-2 outputs for solo bus, this would simplify things greatly. On the custom panel, I could toggle some meters to switch between AFL normally, and then PFL (from the AIC) when soloed.

    Agreed!

The mixer object solo function should have:
    * solo selectable between PFL/AFL (button on control panel)
    * solo selectable between discreet output and SIP (button on control panel)
    * a solo LED on the control panel so we can trigger logic based on the solo on/off state

    Other mixer stuff
    * both mono inputs and actual stereo inputs so that channel 9, left input goes to left output and channel 9, right input goes to right output without me needing to link every state variable on two mixers
    * stereo subgroups accepting stereo channel signals or panned mono channel signals
    * group-to-master assignment buttons so you can use the groups as... I dunno... subgroups maybe?
    * channel-to-master assignment buttons so that a channel can be assigned to a group without being forced to ALSO have it in the master output

Yeah. Sorry about the greasy footprints. I've been standing on that page since 2005.

Really? Is engineering aware of the request? Or are these things we'll likely not see until something like LA 4.x?

They're aware. I'll be surprised if it ever gets changed, but it could happen.
