Solo function for 8 channels

I need a set of 8 buttons that recall presets that mute all but the selected channel (have this working great with logic sources setting the indicator and preset buttons selecting the preset of choice) AND I also need to be able to select whichever \"Solo\" is on and clear all mutes. I can do this with a 9th clear preset button but I really need it to be 8 buttons total for use with a BLU-10. I have messed around in logic with using counter/shifter as latcesh and preset tables but not quite getting it right.

    Simple enough:
    * Place an 8 channel mixer.
    * In properties of that mixer, set \"Number of Groups\" to 1.
    * Wire to the group output of the mixer, NOT the normal output.
    * On the mixer control panel, link all 8 of the Group1 buttons as Radio Group With Off.
    * Place the Group1 buttons on your BLU-10.

Alternate method - DOES NOT work on a BLU-10 - only works on a control panel
    * Place an 8 channel source selector.
    * Drag the source selector control to a button.
    * Copy that button 7 times.
    * In properties of the buttons, change \"Override On Value\" to YES.
    * Set each button to a different input of the source selector.

Press any button to turn on that input. To select the \"none\" position, just press the button that is already on.
