Mute question

I wanted to link four mute buttons so that only one of the four channels is on at the same time. Here is what I did:
1 Made custom panel
2 Dragged the four mute buttons to the panel
3 Linked the four buttons as \"Radio with Off\"
I tried it out and realized that this is the opposite of what I wanted. Since the button is muted on a button \"on\", one channel was muted and three were open. So I changed the \"On Value\" in the button properties from \"Muted\" to \"Unmuted\". This looked like what I needed. I had to do the same properties change for the mute buttons on the mixer.
Everything looks like it is worked, except for the visual feedback in the Default Config view of the mixer block. The red square around the input node is now opposite the mute button in the mixer block. When the mute button is unmuted (On), the red square shows up indicating it is muted. Since I don't have a processor with me I can't test to see what it is really doing. There are one of two possibilities:
1: The visual feedback is tied to the button on/off state, not the actual mute status and is now showing the opposite condition.
2: The visual feedback is correct and I have to use logic or something else to allow me to have only one channel unmuted at a time.
So which is it? Anyone know?

If I had a spare unit, it would be trivially easy to test, but all of mine are currently in use.
