Hi There,
I'm going all retro and blowing the dust of a couple of soundweb greens for an upcoming project i have. However I don't seem to be able to install the latest designer software on this windows xp PC. The Version I have downloaded is soundweb150build68full.exe. when I run this the self extract runs to 100% but thats as far as I get. anyone else had a similar experience ?

Another possibility is that you're just not being patient enough. On certain installations of Windows, the Soundweb Designer installer will get almost completely done and then Windows will cause it to pause... and pause... and pause. I've seen cases where the pause lasted up to 15 minutes and the it just magically finished. I have no clue what it's doing during that time. If you want to try to reinstall, make sure you delete the BSS Audio folder before you start.
No matter what the problem is, the other solution is to just install it on a different computer and then copy the BSS Audio folder over to the computer you want to use. Soundweb Designer does not use the Windows registry at all, so you can just copy the installation folder, create your own shortcuts, and you're ready to go.
