BIB Input Noise

Good evening,
I have a problem in an installation where a BLU160 is combined with a BIB to handle the analog inputs. The BLU contains only digital I/O cards.
I have multiple Line sources connected to the BIB, there is no problem, but on 2 channels there is a condenser goose neck microphone connected (Sennheiser ME36)
Here 48V is switched on and the BIB Gain is set to +18dB.
Now if I unmute the channels you hear a very high tone. (Noise)
Altough if I disconnect the input direct on the BIB you can hear it.
The device is mounted in a rack together with 6 Crown itech HD Amps.
Has anyone an idea how to fix it? At the moment I put a lo pass filter in the signal chain, but there must be a better solution.
Thanks in advance, Sven

If you disconnect the microphones from the BIB, the noise disappears, right? It a bit unclear in your description.
Most likely there is no fault in the BIB. More likely is the noise is introduced in the microphones. For example, digital drivers for flouresent lights emmit a nasty emf noise that can be picked up by unbalanced cabling (such as in electret microphones, between the capsule and the phantom adapter).
I may be totally wrong, but it's worth checking.

the point is, that the Noise does not disappear after disconnecting the input plug direct on the BIB.
First I thought too that tha cable or the shield fails, but this can't be.
I was looking for some experience here with a BIB and the preamp quality..
Thanks, Sven
