Questions about the synchronization of node address

we have an BLU-160 failed and need to be replaced with a new one. After we loaded the program by our production BSS, it is found that the node address is different. Therefore, the system prompted that if we need to synchronized the node address between the program and the new device.

1. if we click yes, the result is that all the devices in our production environment need to be reloaded.

2. if we click no, interestingly, the node address from the current program will be used for that new device.

May we know more information for that two options? Will there any site effect happened if we click \"NO\" to not synchronize the node address of that new device.

Thanks.

  • If your are replacing a unit, then generally you would select no. This is especially important if you have a third party control system. The node address is used by the control system as well as other boxes in the design file. The device will reboot once the node address updates. The node address can also be changed in the network window under the device settings.
