Calendar Events with power off

Howdy all. Bit of a newbie question.

Have a series of calendar logic events triggering presets.
Problems occur when client powers device down and blu-100 remains powered off during one of the calendar events.

Is there a way to use the startup logic pulse to check what calendar item should be loaded and trigger the preset?

One other quick question that does not seam to be easy to find: Calendar objects must be given an on time and off time. What is the best way to do this? Have the calendar object go high at desired time, then low again 10 seconds later? Or should I be setting the low a few seconds before the next calendar event?

Thank you all in advance for the kind support you all offer to us new users!

    The second choice is right.
If you want the unit to power on to the correct state, keep the calendar logic high until a few seconds before the next event.
Of course depending on what you are triggering you might need some other logic blocks like single pulse, OR and AND in line.
For example if you are muting things at certain times but want the user to be able to unmute them at any time through use of another preset, that logic being high could mess with real time operation.
So consider carefully various scenarios and use other logic objects to CYA.
