BLU-10 appears to work but does nothing

I have a BLU-160 in a permanent rack and a BLU-10 in a portable rack, the portable moves from a control booth to a FOH position. Occasionally when the rack is moved the BLU-10 appears to be working (you can change pages, select presets controls gains, mutes etc) but it does not actually do anything. It doesn't seem to lock up, it just doesn't do anything. The data lines from the BLU-160, booth and FOH positions go to the same net switch. Any suggestions? Does the BLU-160 need to power cycle when the BLU-10 moves?

Yo may want to check the IP settings of the boxes and make sure they are not changing (make sure the DHCP lease is not expiring). Also check each location from London Architect to make sure both boxes are visible and on the same subnet.

Everything has a static IP and is connected to the same switch...
