Fullscreen is best escaped with Ctrl L and then shift F5

    You can also press the Windows key on your keyboard to get the taskbar and go from there.
    But the best way to not lock yourself out is to put buttons on your admin page that do the basic functions such as log off, switch to design mode, exit, on line/ off line. then make sure that admin page is linked to from all user panels.
