Calendar Editing Via Custom Control Panel?

Greetings

I want an end-user to create/schedule calendar events via a custom control panel. Is there another way than directly editing the properties of the calendar logic object?

The user does not have an audio background and simply would be scheduling events (parameter preset recalling). I don't want them to go into full design mode where they could accidentally change the configuration.

Any ideas would be appreciated

  • There is no mechanism in London Architect that allows this. However, it is possible to create a Logic circuit which will give you more or less the same funtionality.
In essence, you would add a Calendar object for every 30 minutes (for example) and wire them up to a circuit which would allow or disallow the Calendar objects' logic to go through to the Preset Trigger objects.
It would end up being quite a large Logic design, especially if you need a fine granularity in the timings and if you need different timings for every day of the week, but large Logic circuits are not a problem.
Tip: Use the Logic Coupler to save you from drawing hundreds of wires and to allow easy connection of large sections of Logic circuits.
You would end up with a matrix of Logic Source buttons on a Custom Control Panel. It might take a while to build so give yourself plenty of time...
