BLU-bib question

Can the BLU bib be used in a star configuration as a remote input interface to an existing london configuration that uses a ring configuration for the rest of the hardware?

My application is for a Media Matrix replacement system where only a single cat5 cable exists for the meeting room bib boxes.

It cannot. BLU Link only works in a line or ring topology.
