3088 Noisy psu?

Anyone had any issues with a 3088 causing noise on the outputs intermittently?

Have not witnessed it myself even though I have made 2 visits and spent over an hour each time trying to get it to misbehave. I did witness a clicking noise from the 3088 itself and the input leds dimmed in time to the clicking!

  • When applying power to the unit, the power LED illuminates, the fan runs, and the signal LEDs illuminate briefly and then extinguish, as is normal. However, none of the LEDs on the main board are lit, which suggests that the logic circuitry is not functioning.
  • You could call tech support... we don't bite :-)
