Spin Control Graphics Change?

I want to change the look of spin controls and have it's stepping function exactly the same. Is this possible?
The ugly white arrow boxes drive me crazy!

    The Spin controls can only be re-sized. However, you can just add bitmaps from the Gallery on top of them. The bitmap will not stop it from functioning.
