Soundweb Designer on Windows 8

Hello,

I am curious if anybody has had any luck running Soundweb Designer on a PC running Windows 8?? I have some familiarity with Soundwebs, however, I am far from a power user. Any assistance would be highly appreciated.

    Soundweb Design will run on Windows but the Event Log will not function.
    If you require full functionality with the Event Log, then you need to run Soundweb Designer on a computer running Windows XP or on a Virtual Machine in Wondows 8.
    Soundweb Designer is not supported on Windows 8 but it works fine.
    Please use the Windows 7 Installer version of Soundweb Designer.

    LA runs under Win8.

    I have used it a couple of times and from memory I had to enable some kind of 'windows 7 compatibility' function inside of windows.

    Can't recall where that was, sorry. My daily machine is Win7 so I can't look.

    LA will run fine in Win8.1 despite not being supported on that OS.
    Personally I've not had to use any compatibility modes.
