iPad Mini/Mini Retina with SA?

Hello,
I am stuck using LA/SA for motion control because AA doesn't support everything I need the SW to do. As aggravating as this is*, at least it's stable once I get it running.
However what about using an iPad Mini, or Mini Retina? SA does not have these options for layout. Do the same iPad Portrait/Landscape panels load to the Mini?
I don't have one accessible for testing, so it may be as easy as just loading the iPad panels to the Mini.
Anyone tried this?
*Not aggravating using LA (I really love LA) but aggravating that I'm forced to use an dead-end and feature-limited software system (SA) because the export/import functionality wasn't included in AA, because AA is not ready for 'prime time' use for any SW system of even modest scale or complexity ... </rant>
