Problems with 3rd Party Control

Hello all,
this is my first post to this forum.

I would ask help for my big problem with 3rd party control & BLU-800.
My first question is that is it possible to control BLU-800 with terminal program (Putty) over ethernet to port 1023? I have tried to solve my problem with that way but without without result. Or is there any other very simply way to test controlling BLU-800 outside LA or DI message tool? Everything works fine with DI message tool but I can´t control my BLU-800 over ethernet or RS232. I think there is some simply thing in my system that I haven´t seen and that´s why I want to ask if there is some very simply way to ensure that the control work over ethernet.

I have read London DI Kit manual and LA help topics three times but I haven´t get solution to my problem.

Sorry my bad english but I hope I can get help by this way. :)

Br,
Tuomas

  • In fact, I found the solution to my problem from this topic. :D
  • My favourite way to test connectivity on RS-232 or Ethernet port 1023 is to send a message which makes the front panel LOCATE button flash.
