cross fading inputs

I have had a request from a customer who wants to fade in and out the sources when the BLU-10 selects a new input type (CD, blu-ray etc.)
how do you fade in & out at the same time ? :?

Have the BLU-10 source selection activated by a Logic source selector. You can do this other ways of course, but this demonstrate the principle.

Use the logic source selector to drive a 'gain timed' processing object.

For each audio source you will need one of these gain timed objects.
Then set a fade up time of say 5 secs and set to 0dB on the top activation button on the timed gain block of the audio you want to fade in.
Do the same but set a fade down time, say to -60dB taking 5 secs on the timed gain block of the signal you want to fade out.

Link both buttons to logic ends, and attach the fade up button's logic end of the first signal to source select output 1, and the fade down button of the second source to this same output.
Same thing in reverse for selector position 2.

Build a little logic design that activates the correct combination of fade up and fade down activation buttons for each audio source.

If you have more than 2 sources to choose from you will need to add in a little more logic.
    Done.
