how to do..

So i have a 7 bobs connected to a bku 160 giving me 56 zones...yes 56 zones.
These zones are infact rooms for which we need to be able to page using a ptt mic located in a central office.

To give you a brief we have 2 input sources which provide bgm/recorded speil into a few of the zones only.

Now the mic is fed into a n input block and out into a ducker, eq, crossover and to the output via a blu link block.

Im in the process of designing a custom page to run on a touch screen for ease of use.
We need to be able to page each zone individually as well as groups.
I need to be able to select with a which zone button...have my zones selected then a clear all button resuming to the off position allowing bgm to recommence hence the ducker.

Im currently using the mutes from the n input blocks as my select to talk to zone...but cant fathom how to do a global clear all thus muting the mic input allowing bgm.

Im sure its a preset possibly but cant work it out.

Any thoughts.

  • This sounds like a job for the Snapshot and Priority Encoder!
  • Sounds promising.
Would that allow me to place a button on a custom panel screen?
I pressume that allows to to alternate between two presets?
Where would i find the snapshot functionality?

    Thanks in advance
