Blu 160 and rs232

Hello London world, I have a blu 160 and am wanting to have my London turn on a video wall with serial and switch a video source selector also with serial. has anyone done something similar with having their London connected to more than one serial device? If so how many devices was a single London connected to as well as how reliable was it. we are also looking to have motion control pages buttons to send out the serial strings. Any thoughts suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

  • To send serial strings to several devices you need a serial data switch. The strings sent from the Soundweb are prefixed with a number which determines the port out of which the message will be sent from the switcher.
The Audio Architect help file has a section on Motion Control which details how to set it up.
In the Soundweb device you will need to use the Serial Trigger and some Logic Sources.

Is it possible to extract data/settings FROM a Blu-80 & Blu-10 into the London Architect software or is it only possible to send data/settings TO the Blu-80 & Blu-10?
