bss london and a kramer presentation switcher

I know the londons have rs232 on the back I am wondering if anyone has used the london to trigger a kramer presentation switcher? If so was it an easy to config.

Thanks

  • Not with a kramer devices specifically that I can recall, but certainly no issue controlling similar products from other manufacturers. Use the Serial trigger object in Logic.

I think we did this somewhere, but I'm not 1000% shure.
But yes this should work, you can use Serial Trigger to send Serial command strings. or with newer switchers you could use the Ethernet Trigger to do it via ip. I'd prefere the ip solution...
  • Hello,

I have controlled many third party devices from sw London , as earlier stated use the serial trigger object within the logic section. You will need to obtain the serial strings / commands, calling the manufacture they will provide these , I've recently used both Kramer and were storm switchers so know this works.
