Assignment of Input Control Ports prevents update of device

Hi There,
we are using a BLU-16 with latest Firmware 86.02.2 and Audio Architect 1.90.1 installed on Windows 10.
When we try to assign a any kind of control or logic source to one or multiple INPUTS of the Control Ports we are unable to upload the changes to the device.
After a cold reboot and removing the assignment from the INPUT Control Ports everything loads just fine.
Any ideas to fix that?
