Hopefully somebody still checks this forum. I'm playing with an old Soundweb for fun and I can't seem to get sound to come out of it. Even putting a tone generator in and setting it to output (which would theoretically output the tone immediately after the configuration is loaded) doesn't work...What in the halibut am I doing wrong??
I'm running the Designer in a VM running XP and have a USB serial's COM port patched into the VM. I have yet to try the built-in serial port on my computer (it's a motherboard header), and I'm ordering the port right now. Is there anything I'm missing?
Oh also, I noticed that the serial number in the software loader says \"0xDEAD0000DEAD\"...Is this a sign??
