Reading Control Input Values

Is there a way to read the raw Control Input values (voltages) on the Soundweb London units?

We have an installation using a lot of AC-V and AC-5S units and the venue is reporting sporadic gain levels jumping around and I'd like to rule out cabling/connections on the control ports first but cannot find a way to read the raw values.

Thanks!

  • It is possible to see the Raw value of the control port, but not the voltage. This Raw value is a 32bit signed integer and will not be of any use to you. It is easier to simply observe the Gain fader in the software as you rotate the pot.
Try connecting the wall plate to the Soundweb with a short cable and observe the Gain fader in the software as you rotate the pot. The Gain fader should move up and down smoothly. This will rule out the installed cable and tell you if the pot might be intermittent.
