Hi I want to take a Blu50 and create a processor to handle live event audio into a webcast. the content of the audio is anywhere from music to soft spoken politicians. Reading up on the broadcast techniques I figure I can create this in a blu 50
the preferred chain is
Gate
AGC / leveler?
Multiband compressor = Crossover plus 4 channels stereo compressor
Limiter
My question is whats the best way to create a multiband compressor, and I'm not totally sure where to divide the 4 bands in my crossover, I picked 4 because that's what was mentyioned in article but they didnt talk about anything but low, mid, high and bass...low is probably low mids in their lingo.
Any thoughts?
