Rename the file with .audioarchitect suffix and you can open it in AA.
Remember that if AA crashes, then:
1. launch AA (DO NOT OPEN A FILE)
2. A dialogue box will appear : \"Audio Architect has detected that the application was not shut down correctly last time. Do you wish to receover the design file through last saved AutoSaved file? Yes/No\"
3. Click Yes. The autosaved file will be opened.
