Help with BSS fds 336T and London architect software.

Hey guys, I really need some help trying to connect my FDS 336T with a failing LCD to the London architect software. I’ve managed to change the midi settings to PC mode despite the lcd is going bad. I also installed the software and set the serial com port as per instructions. Set the firewall to off. I’m using a laptop equipped with windows xp sp2 and a db9 null serial cable. I just can’t seem to get the software to recognize my unit. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
