Source selection recalls mixer preset. Blu-100

Hello!
Hope all doing well.

A bar regularly getting requests for subs on an Aux during live gigs.
Please advise on best workflow to implement the same.
I need to feed the subs from the main mix inputs for all sources except live, where the sub out on the BLU-100 taps another discrete input.

I was thinking of patching a 3 channel + 3bus mixer before the output, where bus assignments to the Sub out are fed via the L+R inputs (if source is anything but Live, and from an 3rd input if source is Live. I will store each assignment as a preset within the mixer.
Then if I could build a logic command to recall said mixer preset upon source selection.

I have not worked with logic before, and I will dig into the manuals, but easier here. :)
Gratitude for all help.
Many thanks!
Sidhu

    Front end control is from a Blu-3.
    I could also ask to invest in a netwok controller such as the EC 4B, but would rather go with what we have.

    I have programmed it to work as follows:

    Inserted a 3 input (L+R+Aux in), 3 Bus (L+R+Sub) out mixer
    Source stereo out feed input L+R on the mixer, a 3rd input feeds the Aux in on the mixer.

    2 Parameter presets for above mixer,
    Preset 1 : Stereo in -> Bus 1 + 2 + 3(sub) out
    Preset 2 : Stereo in -> Bus 1+2 out || Aux in -> Bus 3 (sub) out

    Venue preset to include the parameter presets (unsure what happening here, will need to refer to London Architect manuals I guess)

    Logic rule, triggered by Source selection object.
    If operator not equal to live source input, the venue preset with the 1st parameter preset is recalled, else (automatic reset) venue preset with the second parameter preset is recalled.

    Working as expecting within AA, but i need a better understanding of the whole preset and logic situation.

    Many thanks for reading.

    Do a few music venues here in the uk which have live mix separate aux feed into subs,

    They have iOS on an iPad at FOH giving them granular control over the whole system in the venue,

    Essentially BGM/DJ sources from else where in the venue (multi floor) with 3 volumes per zone and a separate stage zone with its own live mix to stage and separate sub feed (this is switchable from a L/R mix or L/R/(aux) mix depending on what console is being used.

    They’re also able to drive the levels for the fills and delays.

    So simplifying it for a blu 3 is going to be quite marmite, it’s either going to work or it won’t and you have no way of changing it one operational.

    I’d suggest maybe an additional blu3 (or suitable source pot next to the blu3) and program that to just to do the sub level when signal is routed to it.

    I often put sub ‘trims’ on controls as different venues have different genres of music/DJ/live and often want more or less sub

    Hope that helps
