PIR sensors
Hello
Looking for a PIR sensor that will work with logic inputs on blu processors.
Any thoughts on how to connect this would be appreciated

Hi
Yes have done something similar like this before in a themed event.
Long story short, group of people walk through entrance way, and as they do a PIR triggers a ighting state , media playback unit plays some stems, sound web handles the triggering of the lighting control, the playback unit and cross fading of audio between standard BGM and themed stems.
One thing to remember with PIRs they’re pretty finikity with regards to sensitivity, from memory we had to program in a wait state within logic (delay) as we couldn’t get enough control on the PiR to just trigger once in a set time period. So you would end up with the sequence playing, and randomly either lights would trigger or the audio would stop and restart sometimes both would happen, and if we dialled the sensitivity it’s down, nothing would happen so very hit and miss.
The optimum position was just over a preseeding door way facing down, so people would ‘walk into the sequence’ that way we could control playback triggering much better.Best of my knowledge the sensor has been changed 2 times in 4 years -
PIR trigger line > Control port (acts as a switch) that triggers presets /ethernet triggers/serial triggers)
