Upgrade 40 year old DC300A amp

Does anyone have any feedback about upgrading an older DC300A with the "recap" kits sold online? My amp appears to be working properly, but I am told that replacing the old caps with new, higher quality ones will improve the audio quality.

    I have an Amcron DC 300 that has not had any service for decades. I cant identify specifics, but may be hearing a little degredation in the upper frequencies. Any suggestions or experience out there on rebuilding. Thanks
