dbx 286s LED Brightness

I'm a regular user of multiple 286s units. The latest one was purchased last month. When I placed it in the rack beside a unit that is a couple of years old and working well, I noticed that the LEDs on the new unit are brighter than the older one. Has dbx changed the manufacturer or specification of the LEDs? If I had a 286s schematic, I could test the voltage applied to the LED string to determine if there is a power supply issue, but one is apparently not available.

    We have not changed the LED's no, but over time the LED's will dim with use.

    Perhaps power supply rails have drifted? Supply caps? Led supply resistor and IC driver? And yes, leds can dim with time; however, I've rarely observed that!!
