Why still two forums??

This drives me nuts!! Everytime I come here I have to check the new forums *and* the old forums because many are still posting to the old forums! Why can't the old forums be \"frozen\" with no new posts allowed, so we can keep track by following just the new forum??

    One problem john, you cannot post any files on this forum.. Don't ask me why.. I have given the same arguments..Posating here gets little attention from the powers that be.. for that you need to contact tech support directly...
    this is after all a USER forum.. they rarely stick their heads in here...

    Then maybe they should close down this new forum and go back to the old one. It seemed to get a lot more action before they confused the issue with two forums with the same subjects... I know I visit a lot less, just because it's such a hassle.
