subharmonic synthesizer

When using the subharmonic synthesizer I hear it affecting my vocals with lower octaves.What gives? Mike

    And you didn't think it would? try aux fed subs if you even want to use that thing.. I don't like it much though.. I have no need for it.

    I thought the synthesizer only affected 20-50Hz. So your saying our vocals can fall into that range? No matter what the vocal pitch it still affects them. Is this acting like the way a guitar octaver does? Thanks Mike

    what i understood from affecting the 20-50Hz range is that it takes the higher range frequencies, pitched them down (like a guitar octaver would) into the 20-50 Hz range, and then mixes that back in with the original. Not certain. Like Gadget, I have no need for it. (i only used it once when someone asked me to DJ a party with lots of techno music)
