Crash Course revisited

Hey guys,
The main band I play in has been very busy so I only got out with my side project a couple times in small rooms and used Carvin 832's on sticks for vox w/o DRPA. I will be using my complete system for a full band tomorrow nite.
I used the settings Gadget recommended as close as the DRPA allows:
H 106 Hz LR 24 -5 dB
L 100 Hz LR 24
L 45 Hz BW 18 9.1 dB If this is a filter setting and the above is a xover setting, why does DRPA put a gain setting here and not the xover? (surely an uneducated ? which is why most of us are here).
As soon as its stops rainiing around here I'm taking the JRX125 outside and doing an auto EQ. (can already feel the love from my neighbors). I guess there's no need for the sub since I'll be setting 100 hz and below flat, then sweetening to taste. On axis? How many feet away and the RTA mic height? The 125 does have built in xovers, despite what some say IT IS lower freqs coming out of the lower 15.
Also any DRPA settings suggestions when using the Carvins on sticks would be appreciated (they're 400 watts RMS each).
Thanks,
Dangr

The other thing is the gain. There is a gain for each \"band\". High band has a low filter and \"out\" for the DRPA (all the way up). Low band has a low filter and a high filter.
Read the new FAQ > AUTO-EQ post Gadget just put up.

X-over looks good, but... play, play, play.
Look for a flat (-0-) response at the x-over point.
