hey guys my name is mark, i work in a club in nc
i have been using a ev dx38 and well i hate that thing, so i just ordered a drive rack pa
my question is, i know it has tunings for my jbl subs and my crown amps, but i run ev qrx 153 for tops, im pretty sure the drive rack doesnt have tunings for it, so could i just use my settings from race that were going into the dx38?

6300 ms of dealy (900 ms per input and output...the DRPA has 80 ms total
26 parametric equalizers 4 per output ...the DRPA has 3 for Hi's 2 for mid/lo
Seems to me if you want a processor thats on the same level of technology as the DX38 the 260 is a FAR better choice... The DRPA has most of it's processors tied together so you don't have individual controls/channel...The DRPA is meant to be an entry level device.
If your not going to biamp the tops no \"speaker tunings\" are necessary! The crossover is in the speaker.. It's passive. If you have subs that uses a crossover, but not considered Bi-amping...Thats full range tops with subs. The crossover from tops to subs is just that...
Yes if you have the parameters from the DX 38 you can (assuming the DRPA has the necessary filters, and delays...it's limited) enter them into the Driverack.
Gadget
but thanks gadget, ill put it the numbers and hopefully it can perform, until i can convince an upgrade is in order
Not sure what causes it, but it's substantial.
Justy my nickel,
